Street Surfer & Tutti Fruitti T
he new Spring/Summer 2011 RICOSTA collection is now even more stylish and sporty. Trekking and streetwear themes reflect the casual style of the new models. The girls’ styles are more keenly aligned to adult shoe fashions: Ballerinas, Roman sandals and new sneaker models will
conquer the hearts of all shoe-loving girls. The trend towards a more casual look
continues and is the mainstay of the Spring/Summer 2011 RICOSTA collection. The children's shoe specialist has met the demands of the market and has designed its collection to be even more stylish and more fashionable. Cool and romantic, rustic and playful – these terms, which appear contradictory at first glance melt into a harmonised union in the new styles for girls and boys. Ballerinas and Roman sandals are undoubtedly number one for fashion-conscious girls. “The ballerina is most certainly the new casual shoe”, RICOSTA Sales Manager, Kai Moewes, confirms the trends in this area. Whether sporty casual or girlishly playful, the new styles in their summery colours will brighten your day. Extra soft leathers such as suede and Nubuck – often with many fancy finishes – or in combination with high-tech materials softly wrap around small feet and stay with them every step of the way. Flower power is everywhere on the removable in soles with a fresh floral design in watercolours. Velcro straps over the instep ensure a perfect fit. Roman sandals make their presence felt in the market. At RICOSTA, the
stylish “Gladiators” enter the fashion arena this summer in many different designs. A discreet, toned down look contrasts models with a hint of Hollywood glamour: Glinting, floral rhinestone appliqués flirt with rustic upper materials and sturdy soles. Functionality is of great importance to RICOSTA. All our Roman sandals are fitted with a zip at the heel and/or Velcro fastenings allowing easy access and fitting.
Not loud, but alive! Girls play soccer, climb, play and race with boys. RICOSTA responds to this ongoing trend towards more sportiness with a number of functional trekking sandals. Little details from the fantasy world adorn the new models in typical outdoor colours such as green, grey, black or purple. Practical snap- locks, webbing and perforated leather emphasise the functional sporty look. Ballerina-type shoes, sneaker and skater models such as boots with small perforations stand for sporty-discreet chic enhanced by the mix of materials, earthy colour graduations and lightly coloured, finished soles. "Not loud but alive”, is RICOSTA’s fashion credo for Summer 2011. This look emphasises specific detail, cool stitching and discreet embossing. Soccer, skateboarding, BMX – little adventurers’ interests need sturdy, sporty shoes. In the coming summer season, RICOSTA places even more
value on addressing its target group. Ricosta reaches the more senior, more fashion-conscious boys with cool sneakers in soft leathers and bold colour combinations. Fresh blue and green tones on basic white, printed lettering in vintage style, extra-wide laces and soft padding ensure the desired casualness with that all important cool look. Not only hard and fast Formula 1 fans will be excited by the new bumper car styles. RICOSTA has expanded the successful theme by adding new styles and hot appliqués in the racing look. From the racing track to the soccer field: The sporty trekking styles with closed toes are an unavoidable must-have for all
players. Flexible soles, Neoprene lining and quick-release fasteners offer the soccer stars of tomorrow functionality at the highest level. Sneakers convince in the coming summer with a vintage finish which is carried through from the leather uppers to the sole. Particular attention is paid to the sole design: The original embossing in the Skyline design is non-slip and guarantees a perfect grip on every terrain.
PEPINO: Candy & casual Pepino starts the Spring/Summer 2011 season with a true innovation. The
perfect shoe for all small mischief-makers daring to take their first, parent- supported steps. “We are closing the gap between our “Pini” model made of suede and the proven infant shoes with injected soles”. The flexible, non-slip and natural rubber sole ensures a secure grip. The new skater range made of particularly soft leather with micro-embossing promises cool street fashion for the tiniest tots. Wide eyelets, waxed shoelaces, soles matched to the leather uppers and finished with a gloss and wipe effect exude the desired look. The unisex models are offered in Velcro and shoelace varieties. Removable in soles go without saying. Hot, hotter, the hottest. The new closed-heel sandals will become constant
companions when the days get warmer. Sturdy, oiled leather in the trendy jeans look and directly injected, flexible PU soles with grip lend the models a really stylish look. Playful appliqués lend irresistible charm with metallic effects; floral print soles and high quality embossing add a fashionable edge. Sport is tops! For this reason, PEPINO offers dynamic trekking models for the tiniest tots. Eye-catching colour combinations and an expert mix of materials, including Neoprene, Nubuck and high-tech fibres perfect the outdoor feeling when taking those first steps.
