In its spring/summer 2011 collection, Superfi t will offer children’s shoes manufactured us- ing SURROUND™ technology (global patent pending) for the third season. The new chil- dren’s shoe styles offer an “open” sole for 360-degree comfort and “real breathability” for the entire foot.

The open surfaces in various colours on the sole make breathability visible, allowing par- ents and children to see how this new technol- ogy works and “understand it intuitively”. But surprisingly, the new styles are still completely waterproof and have a much better interior cli- mate. In order to allow wearers not only to feel the unique GORE-TEX SURROUNDTM

technology

but also to see it, the design team from Super- fi t in Graz created a colour system that gives each Superfi t children’s shoe with GORE-TEX SURROUNDTM

an unmistakable appearance.

These new, highly visible colour combinations offer eye-catching soles for the children who wear them plus a variety of designs to choose from within the new collection.

Superfi t – a traditional Austrian children’s shoe brand with a long history on course for success throughout Europe For some 30 years, the Austrian children’s shoe brand Superfi t has taken on “big responsibility for little feet” by constantly offering innovative products and designs. Superfi t has been work- ing with GORE for around 20 years – a collabo- ration that benefi ts not only children and their “little feet” but also shoe dealers throughout Europe. The Superfi t brand has been one of Europe’s market leaders in the children’s shoe sector for many years. Superfi t is one of the three brands belonging to Legero Schuhfabrik GesmbH, headquar- tered in Graz, Austria. Founded in Vienna in 1872 by a traditional master shoemaker during the Habsburg period, the company became a private limited company in 1954. In 1994, Ste- fan Stolitzka took over full control of the com- pany and developed operations successfully in the years that followed. The company has expanded further since then, and it now has over 1,000 employees around the world who are constantly working to ensure big responsi- bility for little feet.

Big visions for little feet Superfi t’s goal is clear: To become Europe’s leading children’s shoe manufacturer. The family- owned company has been under the leader- ship of three managing directors for many years: Stefan Stolitzka (owner and chairman), Clemens Kellner and Rudolf Hampl. As an owner-operated company, Superfi t guarantees continuity and stability as well as great visions for little feet – and their implementation. The mastermind and visionary behind it all is owner Stefan Stolitzka: “The one thing that stands the test of time is good quality. We will continue to focus even more on conserving resources and learning a great deal from our experiences. We will then apply what we learn to our shoes, where our aim is to combine ex- traordinary design with innovative materials and technologies, unique textures, bold colours and solid manufacturing techniques.” The success of Superfi t shows that its owner is on the right track: The brand has now been named the best children’s shoe brand by the German-speaking shoe industry for six years in a row.
