ational trade fashion event Moda, which takes place on 8-10 August 2010 at the NEC Birmingham, has announced further signings across all sectors as excitement builds ahead of next month’s show. New additions to the Moda Woman line up include Marie Mero, Vera


Mont, trouser brand Zaffiri, Barcelona-based brand Diktons, German T-shirt company Lea H and Jensen Woman These will be showing alongside fellow debutants Danish lifestyle brand


Jackpot, top Israeli label Ronen Chen UK, Elegance from Germany, French brands Devernois, Epicea and Paule Vasseur. These new signings will be showing alongside a whole host of brands returning to Moda Woman after an absence, including Finnkarelia, Double Two and Chianti, and Moda regulars Fred Sabatier, James Lakeland, Libra, Presen, Linea Rafaelli, Seasalt, All is Beautiful, Rosner, Unique Woman, Pause Cafe and Lebek. Over in menswear, American Boy, Weird Fish, Christian Lacroix, Milena and


Pierre Clarence have joined the Moda ranks, and will be joined by other brands making first time Moda appearances, including Jacques Britt, Peckham Rye, Garcon Chic and Marcus. Returning brands are out in force as


well, with Gibson London, Florentino, Eterna, Olymp, John Smedley, Robert Graham, Wolsey and Joules all signed up for the show, as well as the likes of HJ Hall, Aigle, Benvenuto, Brax, Roy Robson, Camel Active, Caterpillar, Double Two, Douglas & Grahame, 1… Like No Other, Remus Uomo, Magee and Van Heusen. Over in Lingerie & Swimwear, recent


new signings Ted Baker, Karen Ellis Intimate Apparel, Hush Hush Lingerie, Letters From Evie, Playful Promises, Kiss Me Deadly, Cervin, Fair Play and Fashy line up alongside fellow debutants Cyell, Seafolly, Speedo Sculpture and Jamu Australia. They will be joined by the very best names across the lingerie and swimwear sectors, including Calvin Klein, DKNY, Maryan Mehlhorn, Miraclesuit, Moontide, Panache, Pain de Sucre, Red or Dead, Seaspray. Pour Moi?, Gottex, Fantasie, Naturana, Lise Charmel, Monsoon, Slenderella, After Eden, Empriente, Charnos Lingerie and Triumph.

very strong line-up of names, which include the likes of Terra Plana, Xti, Wilfords, Scholl, Start-rite, Rieker, Rocket Dog, Paolo Vandini,


Pod, Naturino, Josef Seibel, Hush Puppies, Grinders, Gant, Frank Wright, Caprice, Cheaney, Barker, Birkenstock, Rockport, Softwaves, Garvalin, Bourne, Boxfresh, United Nude, Chinese Laundry, Lelli Kelly, CAT Footwear, Wilfords and Anatomic & Co. The Accessories sector, meanwhile, welcomes Bulatti, Lido Pearls, Radford


Accessories, Arrogance, BiBi, Nashelle and Spanish label Volum, who will line up alongside regulars and returning brands including, Suzy Smith, San Diego Hats, Smith & Canova, Passigatti, Mint, Kelevra, Gaby’s, Big Metal, Dents, Chartage and Adele Marie. The popular Moda seminar programme, meanwhile, returns with a


programme of events and workshops that are a must for every retailer. Social media expert Chris Middleton will discuss how to use social


networking sites to your business’s advantage, and provide information to get even the most Facebook-phobic person social networking in no time at all. Retail guru Thierry Bayle, meanwhile, returns to Moda determined to dispel the myths for retail failure. Whether it’s the economy, the weather or the customers, there’s always a way around it, which Thierry will find. Also at Moda, ex-Olympic athlete turned retail performance specialist Dennis Reid will reveal how to engage your staff to deliver exceptional service while maximising every sales opportunity, and lingerie expert Gillian Proctor will reveal the secrets to the perfect fit. Seminars take place on the Sunday and Monday of the show, while


catwalks showing the key looks from across the show’s sectors will take place at regular intervals throughout the three days.
