TELEVISION A campaign has already kicked off with a series of creatives tailored for different audiences and showcasing all the various features of the game. The campaign will deliver almost 1,200 TVRs over seven
weeks pre- and post-launch. Nintendo is also executing a takeover of all the Turner children’s channels. This will consist of a range of competition spots, idents and an online presence.
ONLINE
Online display advertising has already started on all major gaming, retail and kids’ websites. The trailer is also available on YouTube.
INSTORE Nintendo is supporting Dragon Quest IXwith a wealth of POS materials, such as cubes and standees.
Livingstone added: “I’m delighted and honoured to become a trustee for GamesAid. I think anybody working in such a ‘cool’ entertainment industry as games should feel an immense sense of gratitude. “We are privileged to be working in such a dynamic and exciting industry. To give something back to others less fortunate is almost mandatory.”
