What makes your store unique? The range and depth of the stock we carry and the service provided by staff who are very knowledgeable.
What is your biggest challenge? The biggest challenges to our industry would probably be the current economic climate, with the changes in VAT sure to have an impact. Widespread downloads are on the horizon as well, but hopefully not for a few years yet.
What do you think will be the biggest selling game of the summer? Crackdown 2should do well, as will the new 360 if the stock is available. On the kids’ side of things, LEGO Harry Potter will be a strong steady seller for us, as will T
oy Story 3.
Can Move and Kinect reinvigorate the retail market? Move and Kinect won’t reinvigorate the market to the same degree that a new platform would, but they are still products

What do you think about paid-for DLC? Publishers need to make money as much as retailers do. Pre-owned games will come down in price to reflect this and the customer will have a clearer choice to make between a new and used purchase.
How many Games Centre stores are there currently? There are six Games Centre stores located throughout Central and Southern Scotland. And we have been in business since 1996.
