Well, since the last issue of WorkLife, we’ve seen a new coalition government come to power, a fellow member of the publishing industry fold, and plenty of whispers around the future of the public sector.
So, even though the “green shoots” had come through and seemed to be thriving, what’s happened?! In this issue, we debate the new coalition government and hear your reaction on page 13. We place the Spotlight on Vince Cable’s recent visit to the North West on page 8 and I have great pleasure in interviewing an inspirational entrepreneur and former swimming champion Steve Parry.
At this time of change, I’m delighted to have recently been appointed to the board of the North West Women’s Enterprise Forum and embrace the new opportunities and future challenges ahead.
