Having designed your masterpiece in 3D Design software such as Solidworks, you may well wish to manufacture it on your router or milling machine. Visual ToolPath has been designed as the link between your design software and your machine tool. It is created specifically for education, and unlike most commercial software, it is both intuitive and helpful. You simply load your STL (3D) file and follow a simple wizard to automatically create the toolpaths to machine the design. A manufacturing simulation can be seen before output, to check for any “silly” values entered, and to check the effect of different parameters on machining times and surface finish. The software also supports TechSoft’s Self Centering Vice for multi sided machining. If you use 3D software and want to machine objects on a Roland miller/router or a RouterCAM, then this software is a must.
