D&T SUPPLIERS SUPPORTMACH’S 2010 LEARNING ZONE


SEVERALLEADINg machinery suppliers to D&T took part inMach 2010’s Learning Zone for the first time recently. Mach, theMachine Tool


Association’s exhibition, which is held every two years, attracted companies such as Boxford, EMCO Education, Identify, Technology Supplies and TechSoft to the five day show at the NEC. In the Learning Zone too were


the Design and Technology Association, Economatics, LJ Create andMega Electronics, all exhibitors well known to D&T teachers. A1 Technologies also


exhibited and attracted a regular crowd round their stand where they were showing the Rapman 3D printer and their other 3D products. Two well known machinery manufacturers, with large


industrial customer bases – namely ExcelMachine Tools and Meddings – were exhibiting in one of the main halls.

Emco Education were exhibiting the FreeFormModelling and FreeForm Plus from SensAble Technologies Inc. which enable sculpting and carving of clay models just likemodelling real clay.
