and featured flowing waterways representing Scotland’s major rivers. the campaign group, led by


chairman nick Maconald, estimate that around £50,000 will be needed to provide the materials


needed to restore the map and it is hoped that enough volunteers will be found to help carry out the work. in the weeks since the official


launch of the campaign, the project has received coverage on tV Polonia, which transmits news to Polish speakers across the world. it has also featured on BBC radio


and tV in Scotland and an article has appeared in a national Polish newspaper based in Warsaw. the campaign’s major grant aid


application for funding is to be submitted to Waste recycling environmental ltd before the end of June. restoration work can begin only after funding has been agreed.

be given by taking out membership of the campaign. Individuals can


join for £10, with family membership available for £15. Voluntary groups can offer their support by taking out membership for £20 while public bodies can join for a fee of £50. Membership fees
