Polonia end the season on a high
FC Polonia Glasgow finished the season with a series of fine results which saw them move up from the bottom reaches of the Division 1 West table of the Glasgow Sunday amater Football league. Keeper Grzeg Siekierski said
the team team were pleased with a successful first season. one of the highlights of their
social calendar was a £1,200 fundraising event with Celtic no2 keeper lukasz Zaluska as honoured guest.
St Johnstone say thanks in Polish
PoliSH fans of St Johnstone will soon have even more reason to visit the
team website – part of it will be in Polish. the club are about to launch
a special Polish-language section of the website at
www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk as a thankyou to their Polish supporters. a club spokesman said: “We have had a very strong, supportive Polish community in this area for quite some time and we thought it was time we gave them something. “the Polish section will have
information and items that will be of particular interest to them. We hope to launch it within the next few weeks.”
