Farm owner fined £9000 after casual worker dies


A PERTHSHIRE business have been fined £9000 for health and safety failures which led to the death of a Polish worker on their fruit farm. Gerard Faltyn-


owski, 26, died in 2006 when a metal pole he was holding touched overhead cables carrying 11,000 volts. Mr Faltynowski


had been carrying metal tubing from a polytunnel when it touched the overhead lines. A fatal accident
