This Beyond6 stencil is made from a heavy plastic that will last a very long time In painting this stencil I started in the center and painted the black.

I then painted the flames on the right side, first spraying the red followed by blue sprayed over the bottom of the red. The left side was painted in the same manner.

Finaly i did the teeth using white and sprayed yellow on just the tips of the teeth BY NEIL ROTH www.getpainted.com

Painting America one body at a time

Here is a picture of the Be- yond6 flaming skull stencil. As Neil mentioned it’s made of a heavy plastic like mate- rial which would hold up un- der repeated use very nicely. It measures 5 and 3Đ4 by 3 and 3Đ4 inches; big enough to be use on other objects like hel- mets, bikes also.

I will be using an Iwata HP-CS to spray all the colors at about 10 PSI. After washing the area where the design will be applied with rubbing alcohol my son holds the stencil in place on Megan’s shoulder blade. The first color I apply is yellow; use only approved body paints while doing this please as I did. You can see I have attached blue masking tape to the stencil to control over spray.

Next I spray red along the bottom of all the flame licks followed by black to outline the skull.

After removing the stencil I add a little color free hand to the skull and its done. Pretty easy stuff I hope you give it a try if you received one of the stencils and post your finished piece on www.air- brushtechnique.com the magazine sup- port web site. The stencils are available where every you find Sata spray gun and airbrushes sold.
