A Royal Salute

This year, Ham polo club is proud to welcome as a supporter Royal Salute, the world’s leading luxury Scotch whisky.
Royal Salute was created as the ultimate Scotch whisky by Chivas Brothers, as a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II upon her coronation in 1953. Only the most precious whiskies aged for a minimum of 21 years are used to create the masterful and sophisticated blend that continues to defi ne luxury Scotch whisky to this day.
Royal Salute has become a leading Scotch brand across Asia, the Middle East, and International Duty Free, and now forms a jewel in the crown of Pernod Ricard, the world’s
co-leader in premium spirits with brands such as Absolut, Chivas Regal, Jameson, Martell, and Perrier Jouet.
Over the last few years, Royal Salute has become a leading sponsor in the world of polo, and has become synonymous with some of the world’s most luxurious tournaments.
The brand pioneered polo in China as the lead sponsor of the Royal Salute Gold Cup, held at the Nine Dragon Hills Polo Club in Shanghai, which remains the most prestigious polo event in the country.
This year, Royal Salute reinvigorated polo in India as the lead sponsor of the Maharaja
Jodhpur Golden Jubilee Cup, which takes place in the shadows of the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace and culminates in Maharaja’s famous New Year’s Eve procession and celebrations at Mehrangarh Fort.
In January, Royal Salute became a partner sponsor of the Desert Palm Nations Cup, held at the Desert Palm resort in Dubai, with a glamorous pool side party attended by the Royal Salute brand ambassador, the Duke of Argyll, along with Nicholas and Annie Colquhoun-Denvers.
