lectronics packaging specialist Schroff has introduced a Power Search facility on its website

to simplify the task of selecting products from its comprehensive range of europacPRO subracks. Through a step-by-step process of choosing the appropriate options for parameters such as height, width, depth, shielding and backplane compatibility, users are presented with the part number and details of a subrack to meet their exact requirements. A pop-up line diagram of the subrack can be instantly viewed by moving the cursor over a ‘drawing’ icon, and full technical information can be accessed by clicking on the part number. Featuring a robust aluminium construction, the europacPRO subracks can be supplied in kit form from stock or fully assembled by Schroff’s expert technicians in only 5 working days. Even with modifications such as special sizes or custom printing and painting, fully assembled subracks are despatched in just 10 working days.

ensortechnics’ HDI sensors measure absolute, differential or gage pressures in

various ranges from 10 mbar up to 5 bar. The HDI series featuress 3 V supply voltage versions which are ideally suitable for battery powered applications, e.g. in portable or handheld devices. HDI pressure sensors perform precision digital signal conditioning and achieve ultra high accuracies with an excellent Total Error Band (TEB) better than ±0.5 %FSS over a temperature range of 0…+85 °C. The HDI series provides digital

interfaces with I²C bus protocol and analog 0.5 … 4.5 V output signals at the same time. All HDI pressure sensors can be modified according to customer specific requirements, e.g. with respect to pressure range, resolution, accuracy and internal digital settings.

agricultural and construction machinery. The MMC (Mobile Machinery Cooler) is a high performance cooler with robust aluminium design ideal for use in rough conditions. Several different elements can be cooled in one unit including water, oil, air and fuel, saving space and reducing costs. Combi coolers are used extensively in mobile hydraulic applications. The different elements such as hydraulic oil, gear oil, charge air and cooling water can be directed into a single combined cooling system customised to the required application. The size of the MMC cooler will vary according to the specific thermal demands and the space available in the application and can be supplied with cooler and hydraulic motor if required.

or anti-frost (anti-freeze) applications and accurate temperature control, nothing competes

commercially and technically with the Matsuo range of thermostats. Their unique twin-bimetal system creates a control that is capable of switching over 1 million cycles with minimal drift. They are totally sealed from the outside

environment with an IP64 rated PBT housing and are easily incorporated into trace-heating systems. Available down to -10oC with accuracies to ±1.5K and differentials down to 3±1K, very accurate, long- term control can be guaranteed using a Matsuo thermostat. This makes them particularly suitable for

applications in isolated sites (e.g. CCTV cameras, tv/radio masts, wind-turbines) where the maintenance costs are very high when inferior quality thermostats prematurely fail. Call today to let us help you improve the quality of your control system
