Terminology - Door Hardware
Used on Patio Doors, these are commonly
known as a tandem roller, which means each
roller has two in-line wheels. The roller is fittedRoller
to the underside of the patio sash and enables
the sash to slide smoothly along the threshold
area of the door on a stainless steel track.
The locking mechanism which runs the height
of the door sash and has a centrally positioned Multi - Point
latch and dead bolt plus multiple hook bolts Door Lock
which engage at various points on the outer
frame with the use of keeps to make the door
secure when the handle has been operated and
the key in the cylinder turned to lock the door
sash in position.
Operates the locking mechanism via a spindle
which passes through both the door sash
