Terminology - Product Types
When three or more frames are fixed together
and they all project beyond the main face of
the building. The brickwork above and below Bay
the window frames follow the contours of the
actual window frame, therefore allowing a Window
person inside the building to walk into the bay
area created.
Similar in appearance to a Bay window which Bow
projects beyond the brickwork, however the
actual brickwork face remains flush with the Window
main building structure. This type of window
does not allow a person to walk in the bow
area.
Oriel windows project from the side of a Oriel
building, like a bay window, but are located on
the second floor or higher and supported by Window
brackets or columns. Oriel windows bring
added light and space into a room and have
been used in many styles of architecture.
