Foundation. To broaden the reach of the
corporate donation,Watkins held an online auction among HotSpringSpas retailers worldwide for the right to own the onemillionth tub,whichwas manufactured
inVista.The com- pany also pledged tomatch 100 percent of the dealer’swinning bid, doubling the charitable donation. As a result of the competitive
bidding that took place during theweek of the auction,Bruno Woodtli owner ofHewooAG,
Watkinsmatched retailer bidding for the right to purchase themillionth spa, donating themilestone unit andmatch- ing the winning bid.
