Trinity Immigration Initiative ' Leaders Exhibition
'Leaders', a photographic exhibition which showcases the contribution made by migrant networks in Ireland, was displayed in the Buttery earlier this year. The exhibition documented the work and achievements of 18 individuals and organisations in rights advocacy, gender issues, culture, the media, and religion highlighting how these migrant networks facilitate social, cultural, and political integration in Ireland.

Irish Playwright Marina Carr New Adjunct Professor of Drama

Renowned Irish playwright, Marina Carr was appointed to the honorary position of Adjunct Professor of Drama at the School of Drama, Film and Music. As Adjunct Professor, Marina is co-teaching playwriting as part of the M.Phil. in Theatre and Performance along with Melissa Sihra B.A., Ph.D. (1995), Lecturer in Drama Studies. This is the first time that playwriting has been taught at postgraduate level in the School of Drama and the course will culminate in a showcase of new writing by students.
‘TAPAS’ – Trinity Access Programmes Alumni Strategy
In March, TAP presented preliminary fi ndings from a study of TAP students who had graduated from Trinity in recent years. This is the fi rst research project of its kind in the Irish ‘access’ context and it has been generously sponsored by Nissan Ireland. The research is assisting TAP to tailor a needs-based 'access' programme, to develop a framework for long-term engagement by employers, alumni and professional bodies, and to prepare graduates to engage with employers following their graduation.
