most renowned fabric producers! The formidable heritage of Yorkshire’s

‘Bartercard has been very worthwhile for us. We buy some of our
wool suit fabrics on Bartercard and we get our website and marketing
done on trade. We also advertise in the local wedding guides and
lifestyle magazines. We do email marketing on Bartercard to get our
brand name recognized.’ says Martin Glover. ‘We manage to spend
money on things we would not have been able to purchase in the cash
world. Being part of Bartercard enables us to grow and expand our
business.’
Every man owns a perfect suit - RooDduke is where to get it. The
showroom is located in York and they can arrange customer visits
depending on the area. A bespoke suit requires a minimum of two
fittings.
In the hierarchy of style, a good suit remains a man’s only trump
card. A few general rules should be observed when
approaching a suit, and most apply to good dressing in general:
The suit, no matter the style, needs to fit your body, closely. This
means all pieces should be cut and tailored appropriate to your
form.
Suits are made of wool and their variations. Additional fabrics
need not apply.
A suit jacket goes with suit pants, not with jeans or chinos. If you
want a casual jacket, buy a sport-coat or a blazer.
A modestly, well-dressed man has never failed to impress. Yes,
never.
Standard blue means navy, with no room for paler shades.
The jacket - think of true love: it must be just-right, with a slight
thrill when you put it on, the ‘coup de foudre’ as the French say.
