riedrichshafen – The most stable variable for the retail sector is the
outdoor segment. The trade fair team in Friedrichshafen senses
continued optimism in the outdoor industry, and will host worldwide
market leaders as well as numerous major new industry operators to be
part of OutDoor 2009 from July 16th to 19th. With 800 exhibitor
registrations from 39 countries, OutDoor 2009 has booked a record
amount of exhibition space compared to this time last year. A further
celebrated accomplishment is the addition of two new halls, expanding
total exhibition grounds to 85,000 sq m (915,000 sq ft).

indicate that we’re on the right track to become the world’s largest,” reports trade fair
director Klaus Wellmann on the eve of the 16th annual edition of OutDoor.
