RE: Thomas Hill Visit!
Hello Blue Devil fans! This month’s edition of LA’s Corner features
our two-time national champion from Texas -- Thomas Hill!

company invests in and develops real estate in
Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, and also manages
the World One Sports Academy project which will be
a school for athletes. Thomas also does consulting
work for his high school (Lancaster), helping to raise
money and oversee player development for the hoops
program. In general, the three-time Final Four
participant has stayed very involved in the game,
also working with young players in Dallas and New
Orleans and spending a season as a player
development coach for the NBA Mavericks in 2001-02.
Thomas said he has stayed in touch with a lot of
his teammates over the years and snowboards with
Christian Laettner and Marty Clark regularly. While
in town, he was hoping to catch up with Bobby Hurley,
who was over at the Carolina Alehouse for a
promotional appearance. T. Hill recently became a proud uncle and really enjoys his family time.
Everyone was happy to see him! Thanks for visiting, Thomas!
One more note from LA -- Christian Laettner’s new commercial for
vitaminwater had just come out when Thomas visited. In the ad,
Christian recreates THE SHOT over and over around his house, much
to the chagrin of his neighbor in the ad and former Kentucky coach
Rick Pitino. At the end of the ad, a jogger passing by reacts just
like Thomas did in 1992 with his hands on his head and mouth wide open.
Thomas hadn’t seen it yet so I showed it to him and he loved it!
