COACH K, ROCK LEGEND?... Coach K, Bob Knight, Rick Pitino and Roy Williams
filmed their parts in a TV ad for well-known video game Guitar Hero to air soon.
PERSON OF THE YEAR... The Raleigh Sports Council named Coach K “Sports Per-
son of the Year”, honoring the Duke Head Coach at a March 5th celebration.
ACC HONORS G... Gerald Henderson earned ACC Player of the Week honors on
March 2nd for his stellar outings against Maryland and Virginia Tech.
ELLIOT NAMED ACC ROW... Elliot Williams was named ACC Rookie of the Week
on February 23rd for his work against St. John’s and Wake Forest.
“HI, THIS IS COACH K”... In early February, Coach K made calls for Duke Chil-
dren’s annual Radiothon. Donors will be invited to a special team practice next year.

Coach K and the Duke staff involved with Team USA at this summer's Olympics in Beijing
received their championship rings in late February. The individual rings features the last
name of each participant on one side and arrived in a USA Basketball case. Team USA play-
ers received their rings during halftime at the All-Star Game after a special message from
Coach K on the videoboards.
