Lighten Up with Laughter Yoga Training
H
ealth & Harmony Center in Fort Myers is offering a two-day training program
to become a Laughter Yoga Leader, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., February 14 and
15. Meg Scott, a certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, will teach the program.
“During the training, students will explore breathing techniques and laughter
exercises to promote health, joy and peace,” says Scott.
Laughter Yoga is a combination of laughing exercises, yoga breath work and
playful group activities developed in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria, a physician from
Mumbai, India. Laughter Yoga’s popularity is quickly spreading around the globe,
with more than 5,000 Laughter clubs in 55 countries.
The program costs $250 and includes a Laughter Yoga Leader Certificate and manual.
