duced their TLR-6™ light. This is an ultra-compact, extremely lightweight weapons light with a red laser. It is de- signed to attach to the trigger guard of the Glock 42 (380 Auto) and the Glock 43 (9mm) pistols. The TRL-6 is the fi rst light and laser combination of its kind for sub-compact pistols. We got a sneak peek at the 2015 SHOT Show, and it is now in full production. Based in Eagleville, Penn., Streamlight, Inc. recently marked 40 years of making tough, durable, fl ashlights designed for the specialized needs of law enforcement. Since 1973, the company has designed, manufactured and marketed high-perfor- mance fl ashlights, and today offers a broad array of lights, lanterns, weapon light/ laser sighting devices, and scene lighting solutions for professional law enforcement, military, fi refi ghting, industrial, automo- tive, and outdoor applications. “The TLR-6 is a real game changer, the
fi rst product of its kind in an emerging cat- egory to combine a light and laser in one super-compact package that is designed for Glock 42/43 sub-compact pistols,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Offi cer Ray Sharrah. Police concealed carry, back-up and off-duty encounters can benefi t from its ability to provide targeted bright light down range, as well as its powerful red aim- ing laser. The Streamlight TLR-6 ™ is designed to be semi-permanently at- tached to the trigger guard of the G42 or G43. These are the only two pistols the TLR-6 fi ts.
The TLR-6 uses the latest in C4® LED technology to deliver 100 lumens, 2000 candela, and a beam distance of 89 me- ters. Its parabolic refl ector produces a balance of beam and peripheral illumi- nation. The light features three lighting modes: LED Only, LED/Laser, and Laser Only. The operating run times are one hour for the LED Only or LED/ Laser modes, and 11 hours for the Laser Only mode.
The light also uses a 640-660 nm red laser which has an operating tempera- ture range of -20°F to +120°F, permitting use under a wide variety of weather

conditions. The laser zero is easily adjusted by elevation and windage screws. The TLR-6 is powered by two 3 Volt CR- 1/3N lithium coin batteries. It features an integrated battery door that permits batter- ies to be replaced while the light remains mounted on the gun, and eliminates the need to re-sight the laser after a battery change. The light is manufactured from durable,
impact-resistant engineering polymer, measuring 2.3 inches long and weighing 1.3 ounces. It is IPX4-rated for water-re- sistant operation, and is impact-resistant tested to one meter.
Semi-Permanent Attachment
To attach the light to the Glock, open the battery door and remove the batteries.
