Driving: High Bomb Draw [continued] Tip 2– UP AND OUT

All the speed in the world isn’t going to make much difference unless it’s properly directed to the ball. Radar technology such as Trackman has proven to maximize distance it’s critical to hit a few degrees up on the ball. A simple way to tune your angle of attack is by taking advantage of that sleeve of balls in your bag. Set the box perpendicular to your target line no more than a foot ahead of your ball. With a high tee at address, make some smooth half-swings directing your club head on an ascending angle that moves from low to high. Miss the box and you’ve got a reasonable angle of attack. Once you can do this repeatedly, gradually increase swing size and speed.

Under 100: Spin To Win

What’s cooler than hitting a wedge shot that checks up or, better yet, spins back on the green? The key is to create a shallow attack that takes a little loft off the face.

DID YOU KNOW? An average golfer with low-end club head speed can increase driving distance by over 30 yards, simply by adjusting their angle of attack.
