information The first two are simply a matter


of changing the explanation or trying to execute better, but the third is not acceptable from your point of view. It is in your best interest to hold your teacher accountable to make it possible for you to improve. I have been playing golf for 38


years, and consider my golf swing to be my biggest investment. After all, I have put a lot of time, energy, and money into my swing. If an instructor is going to mess with it, it better be helpful because, as we all know, changing it is hard! I take that responsibil- ity carefully when I am teaching golf. Your instructor should too. It is your job to hold them accountable.


It’s comforting as a student that


your instructor knows where he or she is taking your swing.


Your golf swing represents an


investment. Develop a good relationship with your golf instructor.
