the club will go the distance they think it will, instead of hoping that it will.” If you choose to purchase a

custom-fit set of clubs, the specs are sent to TaylorMade headquarters in Carlsbad, where they are built, shipped and delivered in as quickly as 48 hours—meaning a golfer could go through the fitting process upon arriv- ing at Pebble Beach Resorts, and tee it up on Pebble Beach Golf Links with new sticks just a couple of days later. Golfers can walk away with a new putter immediately, thanks to an on-site Mitchell Machine that can create the ideal loft and lie of the putter needed to erase those three-putts. “Golf is the game of a lifetime,

and golfers should have the tools to help maximize their satisfaction and enjoyment,” Small says. “The result will be more fun, and rewarding and clean shots on a more consistent basis, which any golfer would be excited about.”

Pebble Beach Company positioned him in countless roles throughout the golf industry. For the past two years, Lippert served as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, preceded by a decade at Del Monte Golf Course where he began as a tournament coordinator and worked his way up to First Assistant. Lippert began his Pebble Beach career at The Links at Spanish Bay, where he worked as Assistant Golf Professional at the Robert Trent Jones Jr. layout. “When I think about the history of

Pebble Beach and what it means to so many people, I feel truly honored to have this opportunity to serve as head professional,” Lippert said. “As a PGA professional, this is a

dream job—Pebble Beach is a very special place and one which I look to be a part of for many years to come.” Lippert’s career accomplishments are

impressive. After founding the Monterey Bay Chapter of the PGA, he served as its president in 2010. He was awarded the 2009 Northern California PGA Assistant Professional of the Year Award, and also received the 2015 NCPGA Patriot Award, presented to a PGA Professional who personifies patriotism through the game of golf. A skilled player, Lippert played on the Canadian Tour and has competed in a host of notable golf events, including in the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine and the 2008, 2009 and 2010 PGA Professional National Championship. He also owns a share of the course record at Del Monte Golf Course, an 11-under 61. “We are really proud to welcome Eric

to Pebble Beach Golf Links after such a successful tenure at Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay and Del Monte,” said RJ Harper, executive vice president of golf and retail for the Pebble Beach Company. “Having worked at three of the four Pebble Beach Company courses, Eric now completes the circle to serve the next step in his career—at the helm of Pebble Beach Golf Links.”
