nisced, speaking at a post-elec- tion gala, “when Mrs. Post and E.F. Hutton, her husband at the time, built Mar-a-Lago many years ago, it was during the Roar- ing ’20s. “We’re hotter right now than


they ever were in the Roaring ’20s, I believe,” he said. “And we’re going to be a lot hotter. “We’re going to turn our coun-


try around,” the president-elect declared. “We’re going to make it

so great, so strong, so powerful — we’re going to bring it all back.” Raising the bar even higher


in his second term, Trump, in his Oval Office sequel, plans not only to make America great again but to keep it that way for years to come — another remind- er that his instinct as a developer is always to build bigger and bet- ter than ever before. Trump’s new, even more am-


bitious agenda involves launch- ing an extended era of economic growth as gilded as the halls of his beloved Mar-a-Lago. But to pass his beloved


MAGA movement on to the next generation, Trump must slam the brakes on inflation, slash the cost of energy, end the forever wars that stuff money in defense


contractors’ pockets, and turbo- charge the economy. Also on the to-do list: get-


ting the massive deficits under control; restoring the nation’s health, with the help of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.; sealing off the southern border; reining in the deep state; and bringing trillions of dollars currently parked off- shore back home. But as Trump officials roll up


their sleeves and prepare for se- rious political sausage-making on Capitol Hill, they know a vast political minefield of pitfalls now stands between Trump and his golden age vision. Among those obstacles: wars


still raging abroad; anti-Trump technocrats expected to slow- walk his agenda; knee-buckling
