About Ecclesiastical Ecclesiastical Insurance is the UK’s largest British owned independent insurance company and we are strengthening our award winning Risk Management team. We have exciting opportunities for candidates to join the Risk Management Department, working in the above territories.
About the Role Following a period of training, centred at our Gloucester academy, these are homebased roles. Risk Management has been at the heart of the our underwriting and customer proposition for almost a century and as a consequence we have developed a reputation for market leading expertise in the Private Client, Education, Care, Charity, Faith and Real Estate sectors, insuring some of the country’s leading landmark and most iconic locations.
You’ll have a varied and challenging diet of survey assignments and whilst you’ll receive comprehensive technical training and ongoing support with your development, we are looking for seasoned risk surveyors/professionals or trainees who aspire to become surveyors. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Surveyors should be qualified to Dip CII and/or CIRM standard, in addition to the NEBOSH - national general certificate, or a willingness to study towards these qualifications. BCI or IFE qualifications would also be an advantage.
Trainees should have a minimum of two years commercial general insurance experience and either be qualified to or working towards their CII or IRM professional qualifications. Our trainee roles would suit those candidates from an underwriting, claims or loss adjusting background looking for their first role in Risk Management.
