RC37 – Recommendations for the control of fire hazards arising from electrical lighting
These recommendations outline measures that can be taken to reduce the number of fi res caused by artifi cial lighting. Practical advice is provided on the fire hazards associated with this form of lighting and how, if implemented, they can safeguard the safety of employees, and minimise disruption to a company’s business, not only regarding the protection of life but also the protection of property and disruption to business continuity. This updated version 2 release is supplemented by an interactive checklist for use by premises operators and members of maintenance and facilities teams.

RC67 – Recommendations for electrical safety in the event of fi re
This publication has been produced in response to concerns regarding a number of issues, including the increased use of photovoltaic solar panels, luminous tube signs and stand by generators in the workplace. The recommendations provide practical guidance to insurers and their clients regarding electrical hazards in the workplace, and particularly those that may be encountered by fi refi ghters responding to fi re calls from commercial and industrial premises. The document also features an interactive checklist.
