NATIONAL Butchers’ Week 2018 takes place from 12-18th March and we’re calling on butchers around the country to enter products in our innovation competition. To help show off the great


ideas that butchers from around the country have, we collect the best new product ideas and hold a public vote on social media during National Butchers’ Week. Last year’s winner was

Gordon Robson, one of the key selling points of the kebabs was the fact they cook quickly. “Customers love how quickly and easily they cook and the kebabs fit really well with the healthy eating plans a lot of my customers are on,” he said. “Tey taste fantastic and can adapt to any dish and can be served to accompany many different rice, salad or potato dishes.” He added that to keep


up with demand, he’s had to buy a second kebab dicing machine. To enter this year’s

competition, National Butcher's Week 2018 provides independent retail butchers with the opportunity to shout about all the great things they are doing for their customers and communities. Last year, butchers appeared on TV and

radio showcasing the benefits of high street butchers, generating huge public awareness for the sector. Be sure to follow National
