The Tale of

the Cockatrice ‘The Tale of the Cockatrice’ is a piece of new writing created and developed by Mumblecrust Theatre. It is a family- orientated show, suitable for ages 6+, perfect for 9-11 year olds! It is based on a little-known legend from British Folklore. In our retelling, a young nun, Sister Mary-Ann, discovers a deadly Cockatrice - a monster who can kill any living creature with its deadly stare! We hear of the town’s struggles, the lives lost and the heroes slain. In the Bute Theatre, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff on 26th July 2017, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8 and £6.
