CHURCH PLANTING & NEW BIBLE COLLEGE IN ZIMBABWE

Pastor Joseph Soko (right) of Rugare Reformed Baptist Church, Harare has planted a church in Matepatepa, a rural area 70 miles north-east of Harare. Pictures show:

1. Outreach Bible Study in Matepatepa. 2. An evangelistic meeting for children. 3. Students enrolled on the newly founded Bible college in Harare, led by Pastor Soko. He has been careful to involve only those of settled reformed convictions as lecturers. As a former LRBS graduate, he is anxious to impart reformed and biblical instruction to aspiring pastors, offi c- ers and church workers.

4. Outreach workers and local peo- ple outside the marquee in Mate- patepa where meetings were held. 5. Pastor Thomas Jim and his wife Mary and their young son. Pastor Jim was trained by Pastor Soko and now leads the church plant in Matepatepa.

[Pastor Soko studied at the LRBS 1998-9 and is supported by the Tabernacle’s Overseas Ministry Fund.]
