Bosch adds to its range
Bosch says that a common problem when measuring on a site is the inability to see the laser point over long distances or due to poor visibility. With its 5MP camera and zoom function, the manufacturer says its GLM 120 C professional laser rangefinder is designed to eliminate this issue, whilst retaining the measurement functions and connectivity features from the earlier GLM 50 C version. Resembling a smartphone, the 2.8in screen is designed to provide
readability at awkward angles, thanks to automatic rotation. The instrument is robustly constructed for challenging environments, with IP54 protection making it resilient to dropping, dust and water splashes.
Bluetooth
connectivity offers efficient data transfer of measurements to a Bosch measuring app, where they can be used to create plans and then transferred to clients, whilst still at the job site.

Whether you need to cut, break, drill, drive, compact or even tamp railroad ties, we have a Red Hawk drill or breaker with the right power for the job.
The Spectra Geospatial SP60 is a GNSS (global navigation satellite system) receiver designed to cover any demand from GIS (geographic information system) up to sophisticated real-time RTK and Trimble RTX- capable solutions. Combining the all-signals tracking
and processing Z-Blade GNSS-centric technology and L-band capability for satellite-delivered Trimble RTX correction services, the SP60 receiver integrates long range Bluetooth capabilities, enabling use as an alternative radio link between base and rover over a few hundred metres. This makes the system attractive for small site surveys without any need for a licence, says the manufacturer.
