Pramac in demand
Pramac Power UK reports increased demand as hirers become more involved with tenders for mission critical applications requiring temporary power for off-grid
installations in industrial and residential markets. “Increasing pressure on our National Grid means that,
throughout 2017 and beyond, the growth of STOR (short term operating reserve) projects creates significant potential,” Commercial Director Steve Hallam told EHN. “Also, the domestic and light commercial markets are now realising the benefits of readily accessible stand-by power. We would anticipate the UK market will demand single phase units up to 100A. “Our smaller 1,500rpm single phase units, such as the
GBW15Y, 22Y and our 230V versions of the GSW30Y (20kVA 100A with remote start capability) are proving popular and can be easily installed into residential housing, care homes, surgeries and light industrial units. This should become a major growth market over the next two years, particularly with the revision of Pramac’s P Series machines.”

Compact Morris performers
Morris Site Machinery has increased its range of generators to meet site demands for quiet, compact and efficient equipment which is economical and achieves carbon reductions. Its Denyo diesel generators range from 6kVA to 100kVA and are designed to reduce fuel consumption whilst offering up to 26 hours of uninterrupted operation. The Eventa and Renta ranges are super-silent, road-towable machines, and the Eventa 20kVA model is targeted at applications where noise must be kept to a minimum, as it operates at a claimed 55dB(A) at 7m. Offering greater power options, the company’s range of 24-hour run Inmesol
generators have a compact design to allow operators to transport up to twice as many units on a flatbed lorry, reducing carbon emissions. Machines range from a small 20kVA model to a 500kVA generator for higher power demands. Inmesol sets have Deep Sea control panels with telemetry options available to allow users to remotely control the machines and review their fuel management.
