Plantforce adds Apollos
Plant hirer, Plantforce, has added a number of Dieci Apollo 25.6R telehandlers from A&Y Equipment into its fleet. The compact machine provides a lift capacity of 2,500kg up to a height of 5.78m and a maximum outreach of 3.25m.
Seven Snorkels for Warren Access
Warren Access, which has two hire depots in Newcastle and Huntingdon and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has added seven Snorkel electric scissor lifts to its fleet. The machines comprise three S3219E models,
two S4732E machines, and one each of the S3226E and S4726E electric slab scissor lifts. LCTV delivers for Hirelink (UK) Midlands Various options have been added
to the machines to meet customer needs, including green flashing beacons, radio systems and reverse camera kits, fitted by A&Y’s engineers.
Hirelink (UK) Midlands recently took delivery of a low-floor tool hire vehicle from conversion specialist LCVT (Light Commercial Vehicle Technology). Based on a Fiat Ducato 2.3-litre 130ps Euro 6 chassis cab, it has a 3.8m body built on the company’s low-floor chassis conversion and incorporates a full-width tailgate, recessed front winch and lashing points either side of the front bulkhead. LCVT states that the Ducato does not
require AdBlue to meet Euro 6 regulations, giving a higher payload and reduced running costs. Hirelink (UK)’s Jason Leeney is pictured, left, taking delivery of the vehicle from LCVT’s Steve Elwell.
