Bobcat dealer expands As well as being the authorised Bobcat dealer for Greater London, Essex, East and West Sussex, Kent and Surrey, Versatile Equipment Ltd has now been appointed to represent the manufacturer in two more counties – Norfolk and Suffolk. To serve the new areas, Versatile Equipment has opened a brand-new depot at Willow Grove Farm in Lakenheath in Suffolk.
New sales manager at Redexim
Redexim UK has announced the appointment of Allen Whellans as their new area sales manager for the north. With over ten years of experience in groundcare sales and a further eight years working in greenkeeping, he is well placed to provide expert knowledge and support to customers across the northern counties and countries, including North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Making the cut
To support its continued growth, INFINICUT has announced the appointment of two new territory sales managers, in the form of Mark Clifford-Kennedy and Gareth Rogers. Joining during a busy summer for the company, the expansion of the sales team enables further expert knowledge and support to be delivered to customers across both the Southern and Northern counties.
Kubota appoints
Kubota has appointed Will Barker as agricultural and groundcare dealer manager for the east Midlands and eastern counties. Will is passionate about machinery and farming, coming from a family-owned dairy farm in Buckinghamshire. “Coming into the tractor business as a former end-user, I have an appreciation of what customers expect from their relationships with dealers. This is a great opportunity to introduce more customers to the ambitions and capabilities of Kubota agricultural and groundcare machinery,” he said.
Sunbelt achieves UKAS accreditation
Sunbelt has received the UKAS accreditation for inspection services conforming to ISO/IEC 17020:2012, which measures its capabilities against the highest standards in the industry and reinforces its commitment to maintaining market-leading inspection services with powered and manual lifting equipment and lifting accessories. “Ensuring the safety of our customers and colleagues is and has always been top priority for Sunbelt Rentals. Year-on-year we strive to grow and develop as a company, and we are proud to say the health and safety of our teams is always our number one priority,” explained Sunbelt’s Head of Lifting, Gary Joyice.
All change at Vp
Vp Chief Executive Neil Stothard is be succeeded by CFO Anna Bielby, who moves into the hotseat after only nine months with the company. Neil joined Vp in 1997 as group finance director, becoming MD in 2004. Anna has been CFO of Vp since January 2023. She brings much to her new position, previously being Interim CFO at Lookers plc, CFO of KCOM Group and a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
GreenMech boosts sales force
Neal Hussey has joined GreenMech as their new direct sales manager, bringing with him over 30 years of industry experience. He will be working with customers and dealers across the Midlands, while his East-Anglian roots will see him supporting dealer TNS in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Neal is well equipped to excel in his new role, starting as an apprentice technician in 1982, then working at Ben Burgess & Co for 19 years and most recently working as sales manager at Tallis Amos Group.
