Compact Plant - Market Report

Bobcat Bobcat’s eight tonne E88 excavator replaces the E85 M-Series machine

and delivers optimal performance from a compact machine. The E88 provides the full experience of an R2-Series excavator, with

features such as an optional fourth AUX4 auxiliary tilt coupler line, a fifth AUX5 hydraulic coupler line and a longer undercarriage. Productivity is enhanced, with low effort joysticks and 5 or 7-Inch displays, improved visibility and easy transportability. Easy-opening covers provide ground- level access to all service points. The D24 Stage V 4-cylinder engine offers a max output of 48.5kW.

CASE The CASE D-Series range of excavators features 20 machines

from one to six tonnes. All machines include up to three auxiliary circuits with

electro-hydraulic proportional control and a range of hydraulic and mechanical quick couplers can be specified. These enable a wide range of available attachments. Zero tail-swing versions are available across the range.

When coupled with the two-piece boom, operators can operate higher and further than equivalent standard mono-beams, digging deeper and closer to the machine in tight spaces. Operators benefit from automatic air conditioning, while a

fabric seat with optional pneumatic suspension and heating, plus optional suspended joysticks, are designed for comfort and safety.

It uses diesel oxidation catalyst and a diesel particulate filter, replacing selective catalytic reduction, to achieve maximum efficiency and environmental protection.
