Besides, I suspect that you and your friends are much more worried over climate change than the lingering embers of B&U or any of their descendants not yet born. Finally, if you have any cash to spare, I


would put it into companies who invest in coastal sea defences and devices for CO2 control, as there is likely, if not virtually guaranteed, to be a high rate of return – nice to end on such a positive forecast – at least where finances are concerned.

Although, in all walks of life, anxiety over what might lie ahead can be disabling, it can also be a ‘turn-on’ for trying harder and focusing more on what really must be done – and, done sooner than later


I wish I could say the same about the
