DUST SUPPRESSION

Advanced Material Processing: The Screenpod Dust Cannon Range

ADVANCED Material Processing are a hire and contracting company operating a fleet of Powerscreen crushers and screeners and Doppstadt trommels and shredders.

In October 2018, Advanced Material Processing became the UK dealers for the full range of Screenpod products as well as Trackstack conveyors.

“We are the ones making the dust, so it was important for us to find the best dust cannon for our own contracting jobs and to help our hire customers manage dust issues effectively,” said Kieran O’Kane, Managing Director of Advanced Material Processing.

"Screenpod Dust cannons create a very fine mist which clings to dust particles and bring them to the ground. They also use much less water than other

models we tried. With water becoming such an expensive commodity this is very important for many customers. They also enable excellent dust suppression without the risk of blinding lower screen decks allowing for more productivity and less down time."

Other features which set the Screenpod cannons apart are the fully galvanised body, so they are hardwearing: ideal for machines to be used in this sector. They use proper three stage water pumps which are designed for longevity.

All models can be remotely controlled from up to 100m away. They oscillate through 350 degrees in 25 degree increments so can be easily set to concentrate on a specific area. They also elevate electronically through -20/+60

degrees (S35 elevates manually). There is also very little maintenance required and drain taps are easily accessible for draining the machines during winter months.
