Magnetic Separations aim for big WASTE’18 impact
ESTABLISHED over 30 years ago, Magnetic Separations Ltd have succeeded in providing innovative solutions for all metal separation - for both general process and recycling applications.
With a specialised range of magnetised separating machines for the food and beverage industry, Magnetic Separations develop unique products for custom installations, while remaining competitive in the worldwide market.
Gareth Bray, Technical Sales Manager (right), said: “All our magnetic separators are manufactured in the UK to the highest
standards, to comply with the latest industry regulations.
“Magnetic Separations have the fl exibility to develop complex and unique magnetic solutions for every type of installation.”
Magnetic Separations are committed to providing technical support for all their manufactured and supplied equipment.
Exhibiting at WASTE ’18 for the fi rst time will allow the company to strengthen its position in the waste market, as the sole UK agent for Steinert GmbH.
With the venue being located in Warwickshire, Gareth explained that the show’s central location will benefi t Magnetic Separations in the long run. He added: “Exhibitions based centrally in the UK make it easier for companies and people to commute to that venue, therefore increasing the amount of potential new customers.”
Save on disposal gate fees with Wood Energy Limited
Magnetic Separation will be looking to highlight their extensive portfolio of equipment, and provide visitors with the knowledge to be able to fi nd a solution for almost every separation task they encounter.
USING a Waste Incineration Directive compliant biomass boiler from Wood Energy Ltd for the drying of RDF/SRF is a great way of reducing disposal costs.
It not only reduces the weight – saving up to 25% on disposal gate fees, and transport costs – but it also improves the calorifi c value making the product much better for incineration and avoids the irresponsible possibility of landfi ll.
Wood Energy will be exhibiting at WASTE ’18 on Stand G - at the custom built Warwickshire Event Centre, in Leamington Spa on July 5.
25% reduction for companies Calculations show if you are paying £90/t gate fees, that drying 40,000 tonnes of RDF/SRF from 40% to just 20% can save you £900,000 per year – a 25% reduction for companies on gate fees.
Wood Energy Sales & Marketing Director, Jeff Tomlinson said: “The result is even greater for companies that have grade B/C wood to dispose of too.
“A gate fee of as little as £25/t for B/C grade will save you a further £81,000 per year, as you can use this material as fuel to power the boiler – that’s almost £1million in savings per year, every year going forward. We have machines that can handle 20,000 tonnes to over 200,000 tonnes - with a payback of less than two years in some cases.”
So why not call the biomass boiler specialists Wood Energy Ltd and arrange a meeting to create a bespoke fi nancial model for greater profi tability? Wood Energy off er in-house design expertise for boiler applications up to 10MW providing heat, hot water and steam for almost any application or industrial process; from the public to private sectors.
The company’s team of skilled commissioning engineers have successfully installed over 120,000kW of renewable heating with more than 550 projects in their portfolio to date.
