DIGGIN' THEIR WEDDING GIFT
IT’S the most important day of any woman’s life, so it was a bold move when Worcestershire-based Budget Skips decided to surprise two members of staff on their wedding day with transport from the Bretforton Church in the form of a digger.
Jason and Ioana Smith from Evesham, who originally planned to walk to the wedding reception venue, were instead whisked away in unique style.
Bethany Holloway of Budget Skips said: “They had absolutely no idea that it was planned. We had to prepare all morning to safely get the vehicle to the church, which proved tricky as it can’t really stay well hidden!
“They were just getting ready to walk to the reception when they saw us coming down the road with the lights on and balloon’s trailing behind.
“There was lots of laughter and shock on people’s faces”. The newly-wed couple then posed for pictures in the giant digger, which picked up a lot of traction on social media. What do you think? Was this a fantastic gesture or was it a risk too far? Tag us and let us know your thoughts on Facebook or Twitter.
