SELIGO’s IT solution off ers great benefi ts for customers
FRENCH tech specialists SELIGO will be travelling across the English Channel to exhibit at the annual WASTE show for the fi rst time.
SELIGO’s presence in Warwickshire on July 5 will allow the company to showcase their capabilities in digital transaction and services platform – designed for waste professionals.
The platform is utilised by identifying sites with the necessary treatment capacities for companies with waste to dispose of.
SELIGO optimises the sale of marginal capacities for treatment centres, and allows users to manage compliance and transaction payment in a secure environment.
The SELIGO service provides three steps to better optimisation:
1) SELIGO locates marginal treatment 32 SHM May, 2018
capacities and waste supply. Operators choose the best option according to their own criteria: product, quantity, price etc.
2) THE waste holders book treatment or services online. The treatment capacity holders book waste tonnage. Their profi le has been validated in advance so the transaction can be completed.
3) WASTE is taken to the treatment centre and checked, before being invoiced at the agreed price. Payment is made for each delivery.
Statistically, landfi ll use has declined in recent years, but there are still obstacles preventing the best approach to waste treatment and recycling.
In Europe – with all the continent’s modern capabilities – only 41% of waste was optimised in 2015.
Up and coming company SELIGO aims to improve the proportion of waste being optimised, by creating the link between supply and demand.
