champion. This was the first show outing for this four week fresh heifer who is already giving 34kg a day. Her dam is Fordmill Squawbuck Tandy EX95. Taking the red and white championship was Knowlesmere Adventure Dream Red from Andrew and Jane Whittaker. This Riverdane Adventure Red sired junior three year old calved her second in February and is giving 45kg a day. Scored VG87, she is on her second outing this lactation having stood grand champion Red and White at UK Dairy Expo in March.


Reserve champion Red and White was the Bown’s Richaven Wisconsin Papoose Red, a second calved senior three year


old. She is the 16th generation of VG or EX cows with her dam being the VG87 Richaven Squawbuck Papoose 2. Classified VG88 as a two year old she calved again in July and is giving 42kg a day. Panda Holsteins stood honourable mention here with Panda Lexander Fools Gold Red VG88, an Alexander daughter three months in to her second lactation and giving 43kg a day. She was breed champion at Mid Devon Show and is full sister to the All Britain champion Panda Alexa Fools Gold.


In the classes second prize junior two year old behind Richaven Shadow Tandy was Ingleden Windbrook Galilee from the Williamson family. Knowlesmere Goldwyn


Abrakaboom stood top of the biggest class of the day in the intermediate two year olds for owners Andrew, Jane and Izzy Whittaker and Gary Jones, with 19 heifers forward in the ring. This March calved heifer is classified VG86 and is giving 42kg a day. This is her first outing in milk having won All Britain junior heifer as a calf, third at All Britain All Breeds Calf Show, second at UK Dairy Expo and junior champion at Western Spring Show. As a maiden she always stood next to Bill Nadin’s Sterndale Gold Chip Ashlyn and it was no different in this line up with Ashlyn standing second. Fifth calver Berryholme Infloence Linda 3 stood grand champion.


West Midlands had the winning group of four from Richaven and Showgirl Holsteins.
