The ink range Wow with wet on wet printing CAD-CUT Sportsfilm Extra

From the top selling CAD COLOUR SuperTEK range through to the ever-popular CAD-CUT Sportsfilm Extra range, Target has a system to suit your requirements.

V

irus has developed a range of water-based inks that utilise WOW technology, making wet on wet printing a possibility. In July, at M&Rʼs headquarters, a team of virus technicians tested the wet on wet (four colour separation and spot colour) technique live in front of 150 printers, dealers and leaders of the printing industry. The audience was fascinated by the fact that no flash units were actually mounted on the machines to dry between colours.

XPRES Vibrant colours from Epson CAD COLOUR Supertek

CAD COLOUR Supertek is incredibly versatile and suitable for cotton, polyester and poly cotton blends right through to lycra, spandex and nylon products. It is perfectly suited for branding technical fabrics as it has incredible four-way stretch and excellent rebound qualities, lending itself to comfortably being used on sportswear as well as everyday T shirts. CAD-CUT Sportsfilm Extra has an impressive five second fuse, is a smooth and matt polyurethane material that provides optimal opacity and is PVC free. It is thin yet durable, cuts and weeds easily and features an extra sticky backing. It is the ideal vinyl for cutting detail, can be multi-layered and has a semi-gloss finish.

psonʼs Ultra-Chrome DS ink for the sublimation SC-F series offers excellent results at an unbeatable price. It is proving very popular with decorators wanting to break in to the soft signage and home décor market. Users of the ink can achieve heavy

shadows with a more natural hue and easily controllable grey scale. A new HDK black ink has an excellent black density to produce deep, neutral blacks. The CMYK ink technology produces extreme colour gamut with vibrant colours, sharp contours and smooth gradations. The ink provides

extremely fast drying times and with the one litre refill pouches, offers a low total cost of ownership.

Virus technicians showed live that itʼs possible to print wet on wet even eight colours in a row without drying in between with a perfect constant result with considerable advantages in terms of energy and down time saving together with a real productivity increment. The WOW inks range is available in CMYK (ready to use inks) and clear base (to be pigmented) for half tones and vector prints, greatest simplicity for best results.
