Charles Alexander Distribution hosted open day T


he first-ever supplier showcase at the newly refurbished Charles Alexander Distribution offices in Leicester took


place on Thursday, June 29. The event was deemed a success as seven promotional product suppliers showed off their latest and greatest products to the distributorʼs staff. During the day-long event, PF Concept, Senator Pens, CHX, Listawood, AdPads, The Sweet People and SPS all set up shop and started to put to faces to names. The event also gave Charles Alexander Distributionʼs new group director of operations, Chris Pitts, a chance to meet some of the organisationʼs core suppliers. Mr Pitts said: “It is impressive to see the level of commitment given from some of our key suppliers and the CAD Group. With the continued expansion of the group and the number of new employees we have, this event has given us first hand

Uniform Brands names new CEO U


niform Brands has appointed Kieron Traynor as the new CEO with effect


from August 7. Mr Traynor has joined the company having been a former main board director of the Dewhirst Group where he grew and diversified the product and service portfolio.


With over 22 years experience in the sector, while at Dewhirst Mr Traynor was MD of the menswear division as well as serving as a main board director during a period of strong revenue growth from £150m to £250m.

During his tenure Dewhirst developed the team and replica shirts for premium clubs including Manchester United and Barcelona with Nike and Adidas. It also supplied own label clothing to companies including Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, Ralph Lauren and T.M. Lewin.
