Amayaopens new offices and showrooms in Nottingham
A
maya Sales UK has now moved into its purpose-built building in East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, which features two showrooms, meeting and seminar rooms, and ample office space to allow for continued expansion. One showroom will house the vast selection of garment decoration equipment that Amaya offers. This will include Melco modular embroidery machines, Texjet DTG printers, Roland Print & Cut, Roland UV printers, Oki white toner printers, Stahls’ and Shulze heat presses, Forever heat transfer paper and Sef garment films. This showroom has been built to offer a relaxed way of seeing the equipment demonstrated, so existing customers, companies already working with garment decoration, and new start-ups can make an informed decision of which equipment best suites their requirements to help grow their business.
The second showroom has been designed as a working industrial DTG garment printing factory. Customers looking at the major benefits of industrial digital print will be able to ‘test drive’ a Kornit system over one to two days. They can bring along their own garments and designs to carry out real time production. This unique offering has already convinced people that Kornit Digital is the right solution, even in the current unprecedented times.
The meeting room capable of holding around 20 people will be used for training and seminars when regulations permit.

Mimaki to host live event series to help customers in a post-COVID world
M
imaki Europe will host a virtual event – entitled the Mimaki Live Series – to support
customers looking for inspiration and advice on how to maintain or revive business after the COVID-19 crisis. Building on the success of its Virtual Print Festival in March and April this year, Mimaki has created an exciting and insightful programme for the market-focused virtual events. The first event for sign and graphics professionals took place on June 30, with the second event for the textiles market and the third event for industrial printing taking place on July 14 and August 27 respectively. Each event will provide a platform for Mimaki representatives, customers, and suppliers to discuss the impact the COVID-19 crisis has had on their business and the wider

industry, as well as share their experiences, challenges, and success stories.
Danna Drion, senior marketing manager at Mimaki Europe, said: "COVID-19 is undoubtedly having a negative impact on many businesses, but lots of our customers and industry peers have been able to find ways to remain in business and even support their local communities during this challenging time. Their stories are incredibly inspiring.
“Our goal is to demonstrate how creative and resourceful businesses across the print industry have been in the face of a global crisis. Through these stories and the wider event programmes, we hope to play our part in helping to re-energise this incredibly tenacious and resilient industry and support printers as they
navigate a new business landscape.” The Mimaki Live events will feature a host of engaging panel discussions, opinion polls, live chats and Q&As, all designed to prompt important, topical discussions and share information and advice across the print community. Ms Drion added: “This
unprecedented time has changed the way we do business, possibly for the long-term. One of the most important things we need to do now is to find new ways to connect and communicate as an industry. Virtual events, such as the Mimaki Live Series, provide an opportunity to do that and we’re looking forward to being able to, once again, engage with our entire customer and partner network and initiate some crucial discussions about how the industry moves forward from here.”
