Focus on Eco Clothing

Now is the time to take a more conscious approach to the environment. Over the next few pages you’ll find varying options of recycled and organic products so you can present alternatives to your customers.

Larkwood New organic range available now

Why organic? A baby’s skin is five times thinner than an adults and organic cotton limits the irritants and exposure to chemicals from a young age. Everything from the organic seed, the soil it is grown in being chemical free as is the insect control, ensures that the exposure to these irritants is limited. Organic cotton is also anti-microbial, mould resistant and has a smoother surface, perfect for decoration.

The Organic Range from Larkwood is offered in key essential styles in super soft accredited 100% organic cotton including an Organic T-Shirt LW620, Organic Sleepsuit LW650 and Organic Bodysuit LW655. They are made in 100% organic cotton single jersey and are perfect for any form of decoration. The range is offered in the bestselling colours and come in ages ranging from newborn (NB) to 24/36 months.

Packaging is also on everyone’s mind and over the past few months Larkwood has seen a considerable growth in awareness of waste and the volume of plastic our industry generates. In response to customers’ efforts and challenges, the Organics Range has been created using recycled card swing tickets and are being supplied in biodegradable bags which, when buried in soil, will decompose after just two years. Not only that, the whole Larkwood range is currently in grade 4 recyclable plastic bags with new production now being made in 100% recycled plastic which is recyclable after use. Larkwood has also removed all its branding so that the bags can be reused to send onto your customers so saving you money and the planet.
