Roland DG EMEA announces integration partnership with Gardiner Graphics Supplies

GSEU, a leading supplier of graphic materials within the UK, has been enlisted to manage and further develop a new and progressive Roland DG media programme, proudly serving Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The UK firm, having undertaken substantial investment in the last two years to increase its manufacturing capabilities, comes with over 35 years’ experience within product R&D and media distribution within the wide format sector. The partnership has been initiated to further provide a complete and saleable solution in which the Roland DG machines and media work harmoniously for optimised end-results.


Paul Willems, head of business development and product management for Roland DG, said: “We are all very excited to work with this very agile and professional organisation. We have been offering Roland branded media for many years and it has been a highly successful program but now we are ready to take this to the next level.”


Prior to a full portfolio launch in the coming months, the partners announced the collaboration with a series of introductory showcase products, designed specifically for short to medium term floor and wall applications.


New VP of global sales at ColorGATE C


olorGATE has added another well-known industry expert to its management team, with Roger Albert joining the company as VP of global sales and business


development.


Mr Albert brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role. His professional career includes positions with Stork, Océ, Canon, Kornit Digital and GMG Color. He will report directly to ColorGATE’s founder and CEO Thomas Kirschner and oversee all of ColorGATE’s sales activities relating to the direct, indirect and OEM channels. Mr Albert’s primary objective will be building a well-structured global sales organisation with a strong customer focus that will be able to handle ColorGATE’s future growth and new product offerings.

I have been working in conventional and digital textile printing, sign and display, commercial and packaging printing. This requires a flexible, scalable, diversified sales team, and I am very happy to have Roger on board who will help us to put a world-class organisation together.”
