utilises the same industrial Kyocera printheads used in the true industrial DGI HSFT III. Poseidon is designed for unattended printing, supporting the DGI monitoring app and a new sleep mode, enabling the user to print jobs without being in attendance. This printer is targeted at the mid-level production company who needs a high volume of capacity but also needs the flexibility of multiple printers for different designs. R.A. Smart will be using the exhibition as the exclusive first showing of the HP Stitch S300 model in the UK. The S300 dye sublimation printer, offers customers features such as a built-in spectrophotometer for consistent colour accuracy, the ability to print both paper transfer and direct to textile and the advantage of having the world’s first 100% front operating dye sub printer at 1.6m wide (saving up to 50% on space).

Engraving

All of you promotional product decorators, did you think we had forgotten you? Well fear not, for you will find three new pieces of equipment perfect for engraving all kinds of products.

Gravograph will showcase on stand K2 the all new compact high-speed WeLase range of laser markers. The laser maker features four technologies designed for any application. Fibre for metal marking, engraving and cutting, Hybrid for precious metals, CO2 for organic materials and plastics, and Green for materials requiring minimum heat when lasered. Visitors to Roland DG’s stand will be able to view two new engravers. The DE-3 is a more user-friendly upgrade of the EGX-350 automatic engraving machine. It features a handy laser pointer which significantly accelerates set-up, letting users engrave and customise a wide variety of items and materials, while the LV laser engraver series is Roland’s first foray into laser engraving. With the ability to etch, engrave or cut materials from wood, to acrylic, to leather, these versatile devices unlock a slew of new applications.
